R.E.A.C.H. (Reimagining Entrepreneurship in Arts, Culture and Humanities) was a European Union-funded initiative that ran from 2022 to 2025. The project explored and reimagined new models of entrepreneurship in the arts and culture sector, with a particular focus on young artist-entrepreneurs from linguistic and cultural minority backgrounds.
The international art residencies of the REACH project offered young artists from the United States (Clive Davis Institute – New York University) and from the Europe (France, Basque Country, Norway, Italy) the opportunity to enrich their artistic practice and develop a professional network by collaborating with other creatives from different parts of the world.
The residencies, called “Symposia” to recall the atmosphere of classical European culture, bring together authors from the world of music and/or visual arts to collaborate on the creation of new projects. For the guest artists, these residencies are also an opportunity to question the workings of the culture industry and to better understand the issues involved in training an artist.
